Vice President, Human Resources, CNA
Erin is a member of the CNA Canada Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for the overall strategic direction and general management of human resources in Canada, in support of the company’s strategic plans. She oversees and directs the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives for talent management, change management, recruitment, compensation, and other human resources initiatives. In addition, Erin works with the wider leadership team to foster a values-based and a performance-driven culture, whilst progressing the organization’s commitment to Diversity and Inclusion.
Erin has 14 years of industry experience and held prior roles at Chubb Insurance, where she held a hybrid role as AVP, Senior Human Resources Business Partner in Toronto and AVP, Talent and Development Consultant in North America. She also held previous management positions such as Chubb Atlantic Human Resources Manager (Chubb Bermuda) and Human Resources/Senior Human Resources Consultant across Canada.
Erin has been focused on the Diversity and Inclusion agenda for Canada being involved in the organizing committee for Dive In Canada for four years and chairing the committee for the past two years. Dive In is a global movement in the insurance sector to support the development of inclusive workplace cultures. In her role, she’s been involved in the creation and delivery of inclusion programs that work to educate and bring awareness to biases and behaviours.
Erin has a Bachelor of Science, SSP Honors, Life Science from Queen’s University and holds a Chartered Insurance Professional Designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
